🟦 Introduction
Alerts notify you when new items matching your criteria appear on Vinted.
Here’s how to create an optimized alert for the best results.
🟦 1. Accessing the Alerts Page
Open the app or the website: https://souk.to
Log into your account.
Go to the Alerts tab.
🟦 2. Creating an Alert
Click Create an alert.
Choose a specific category.
⚠️ Very general categories (e.g. Men, Electronics) may deactivate your alert.
🟦 3. Selecting Brands
Open the Brands section.
Add only the exact brands you want.
If a brand exists on Vinted but not on Souk, contact us to have it added.
🟦 4. Optional: Colors
Colors filter results heavily.
For optimal performance: avoid using colors.
Only use them if you're searching for a very specific product.
🟦 5. Keywords
Keywords are very strict :
They must appear exactly in the title or description.
They must be separated by a space.
If a single keyword is missing → the item will not appear.
❌ Incorrect example
Keywords: nike blue green
Listing: Green T-shirt
→ Missing “blue” ⇒ it will not appear.
🟦 6. Don’t overload the alert
Too many conditions can make the alert inactive.
Avoid:
Too many brands
Excessive keywords
Prefer:
✔ One alert per product type
🟦 7. Enable notifications
Make sure that:
Souk notifications are enabled on your device.
Both the alert and its notifications are activated.
🟦 8. Test your alert
Go to your Feed:
If items appear → everything works.
If nothing appears → contact us with:
one or more item links that should appear
the exact name of the alert

Alert ON : Alert activated
Notif ON : Notifications enabled
Notif OFF : Alert active but notifications off
Alert OFF : Alert disabled
