Automatic account switcher

Rules and instructions for the automatic account switcher

The Automatic account switcher helps rotate your linked Vinted purchase accounts automatically.

It is designed for users who have multiple linked accounts and want Souk to keep purchases running with the healthiest available account.

What the switcher does

The switcher does not change your alerts or purchase settings.

It only decides which linked Vinted account should be used for purchases.

A “healthy” account usually means an account that is:

  • linked correctly

  • active

  • not paused, blocked, or banned

  • has a valid payment method

  • has a valid shipping address

  • is ready to buy

To use Safe or Forceful, it is recommended to have at least 2 healthy linked accounts.

Available modes

  • Off

No automatic rotation.

Souk keeps using your current purchase account setup until you change it manually.

  • Safe

Souk rotates accounts early.

As soon as a purchase attempt starts, Souk prepares another healthy account to replace the one that is being used.

This is the most proactive mode.

  • Forceful

Souk rotates accounts only when needed.

It keeps your current account setup unchanged unless an account gets blocked, banned, or becomes unusable.

This is the most conservative mode.

How each mode behaves

1. Off

Autobuy / Autocop

  • Souk uses your current purchase account setup as-is.

  • No automatic replacement happens.

Multicop OFF

  • Purchases use your current active linked account only.

  • If that account has an issue, you need to switch accounts manually.

Multicop ON

  • Purchases use the accounts currently active in your multicop setup.

  • If one account becomes unusable, the switcher does not replace it automatically.

2. Safe

Autobuy

  • When an Autobuy attempt starts, Souk rotates the account in advance.

  • The account used for the attempt is replaced by another healthy linked account for the next attempts.

Autocop

  • Same logic as Autobuy.

  • When an Autocop attempt starts, Souk rotates the purchase account in advance so a fresh account is ready for the next attempt.

Multicop OFF

  • Souk replaces the current active purchase account with another healthy linked account as soon as a purchase attempt begins.

  • This helps keep your single active account fresh.

Multicop ON

  • Souk rotates inside your multicop pool.

  • When one active multicop account starts a purchase attempt, Souk can swap it out and replace it with another healthy inactive account.

  • This helps keep your active multicop pool fresh and ready.

Best for: users who want automatic rotation as early as possible.

3. Forceful

Autobuy

  • No account is rotated when the attempt starts.

  • Souk only switches if the current account becomes blocked or banned.

Autocop

  • Same logic as Autobuy.

  • The account stays in place unless Souk detects a serious account issue.

Multicop OFF

  • Souk keeps using your current active purchase account.

  • If that account becomes blocked or banned, Souk switches to another healthy linked account if one is available.

Multicop ON

  • Souk keeps your current multicop pool unchanged unless one of the active accounts becomes blocked or banned.

  • If that happens, Souk removes the bad account and replaces it with another healthy inactive account if possible.

Best for: users who want fewer rotations and only want replacements when an account actually has a problem.

Which mode should be used?

  • Use Off if account rotation is not needed.

  • Use Safe if the goal is to rotate accounts proactively.

  • Use Forceful if the goal is to keep the current setup stable and only replace accounts when necessary.

Important notes

  • The switcher only works well if at least one spare healthy account is available.

  • If no healthy replacement account exists, Souk cannot rotate automatically.

  • The switcher manages purchase accounts only. It does not change your alerts, keywords, or feed settings.

  • Autocop and Multicop must still be enabled separately if you want to use them.
